Fun with a purpose

In keeping with the festivities, the Indian Church of Christ is proud to present the "Grand Winter Carnival" on December 7, 2008 at Kamla Nehru College, Khel Gaon Marg, (next to Gargi college). It's a time for Delhites to come together for a day of fun, food, games,contests and much more. The carnival will also have an exciting auction and stalls for garments, toys, consumer durables etc. A special band of musicians will add zest to the event.

The carnival is also an opportunity for you to contribute for a noble cause.

Over the last few years, the Delhi Church of Christ has set up churches in Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Bhubaneshwar with the goal to spread God's word in these cities. God has been working powerfully in these cities (and in other parts of India). Many lives have been transformed. If you are a member of the congregation, you know how God has changed your life. This is a chance for you to touch someone's life and help them experience the wonderful joy of entering into a relationship with God.

The proceeds of the carnival will be used to support our churches in Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Bhubaneshwar.

Garage Sale

There will also be a garage sale at the carnival. Its your chance to get hold of that that cool gadget that you always wanted but didnt want to pay for a new one. Its also an opportunity for you to donate something that you dont really use/need that can be of use to someone else.

What is the garage sale?
The garage sale is a sale of used items in good working condition. The proceeds of the sale will be given to the church.

What items can I contribute?
You can contribute items like clothes, sports equipment, electronic gadgets, consumer durables, and any other items that can be used by someone. Basically, the key here is that the items must be in good working condition.

Tickets

Entry to the carnival will be by tickets. This applies to everyone (members and non members alike).

Entry tickets are priced at Rs. 20.
Special donor passes are priced at Rs. 100 and Rs. 500.

All members of the church are encouraged to invite their friends, colleagues, and relatives to the carnival. It is our sincere request to all members of the church to really help us in selling these tickets.

Booklets of 10 leaves of Rs. 20 tickets are made available to all members.

Stalls

We would like to encourage every family group to set up at least one stall.

Who can set up stalls?
Members of the church (collectively as a family group OR individually).
Non-members can also set up stalls to promote their products & services.

How much does it cost?
The cost of a 10ft x 10 ft stall is Rs. 500 (for members of the church).
For non-members, it is Rs. 2000.

What activities are allowed in the stalls?
You can set up a stall to sell food, organize games, promote your products/services. For other details, please get in touch with the contact person mentioned below.

How many stalls are available?
Our goal is to set up at least 50 stalls. So far, we've received 16 confirmed bookings. Only 34 left to go... So hurry.

Sponsorships

The floating crowd of over 1000 expected participants provides an exciting opportunity to promote your company's products & services. We invite sponsors to take this opportunity to reach out to a large available group of consumers while also contributing to the success of the Carnival by being a sponsor for the event.

The various options available to you are:

1. Overall Carnival sponsorship - Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh Only)
2. Co-sponsor - Rs. 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only)
3. Corporate Stalls of 10ft x10 ft - Rs. 2000 (Rupees Two Thousand Only)
4. Stall Sponsor (space for your logo/banner will be provided) - Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only)
5. Independent promotional space for banners - Rs. 1000 (On the ground) & Rs. 5000 (at the main entrance & on the main stage)
6. Grand Lucky Draw Prizes - Rs. 20,000 (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) - Company products are also accepted for the lucky draw prizes.
